Bacalar the 7 Color Lagoon and Cenote Azul
We start by picking you up from your hotel or meeting point accordingly from which we will then be headed towards Bacalar the 7 Colors Lagoon, from there we will start with a beautiful cenote in which we will let you swim and relax on calming freshwaters for about an hour. We will then head forward into a restaurant we are sure you will enjoy due to its diverse menu, you can choose anything you like, such as chicken chilaquiles, meat chilaquiles, eggs to your taste, quesadillas, club sándwich, hotcakes and a fresh bowl of fruit.
Cocalitos. Bacalar beach club
We will then head towards an área called “Balneario Natural Cocalitos” Here we will get to enjoy the crystal clear waters and take a nice swim in this beautiful 7 Colors Lagoon, you will also get to enjoy the swings and comfy hammocks. We will be here for about 2 hours and then head over to the next área.
Bacalar Lagoon boat trip
As soon as we get on board this fun 2 hours Bacalar 7 Colors Lagoon boat ride, on which we will visit a couple of cenotes in “Bacalar 7 Color Lagoon.” Start the tour with “Cenote Esmeralda” This is a nice open cenote, you could say it’s a natural pool. Next stop “cenote negro” also known as the “witches cenote,” with its mysterious local stories, this cenote is known for its pure black color which is caused due to its 100 meters of depth.
The Famous Estrematolites Visit
From the mysterious cenote, towards “cenote cocalitos,” you will get to enjoy the calm crystal clear waters where you will see the famous stromatolites. Nothing better than looking at that blue calm water on a beautiful sunny day here at “Bacalar 7 Color Lagoon.”

Eventually, we will arrive to “Isla Pajaros” one of the main attractions at this 7 Color Lagoon and as you guessed there will be a lot of beautiful birds to look at so it’s a pretty cool view. Lastly, we will head towards “Canal de Los Piratas” where you will notice it’s sort of like a bridge between two different bodies of water here in Bacalar.
And for the final stop, we will go to a delicious restaurant to relax and eat some nice food.
